Disney Traditions White Woodland Collection

The White Woodland Disney Traditions collection by Jim Shore features a number of different Disney Princesses posed in a scene with their animal sidekicks. Each piece is a substantial size and captures the character’s personality perfectly. While most of Jim Shore’s pieces are colourful and vibrant, this collection has been created to be much more subdued. Each piece looks as if it has been painted with a monochromatic palette is absolutely stunning. 

Each one of these pieces has the classic signature details you would expect from a Disney Tradition including Jim’s signature swirl patterns but is painted in a new way. Jim Shore’s collectibles are true pieces of art and can be admired from every angle as he does an amazing job at finishing the entire piece front to back. The designs which Jim Shore has created for this series are timeless and would make a Disney collector of any age happy. 

I personally have four of these unique pieces in my collection and cannot wait to find more. I currently have Aurora, Snow White, Tiana and Alice in my collection, and I hope to add Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine and Ariel one day. There are also more characters that are currently available such as Mulan, Rapunzel and Pocahontas. Tinkerbell has also become available for pre-order and will be released later this year. I have also heard a rumour that his iconic Story Book collection may be getting a “White Woodland” remake as well.

Although these pieces can vary in prices, they are mostly all still available for a reasonable retail price. Like most other Disney collectibles, the value of his pieces seems to go up over time and once a certain piece has retired, it become harder and harder to find. While there are a lot of online retailers who sell Jim Shore pieces, I always shop for my personal collection on Amazon first. If I am not able to find a piece through Amazon, I will then attempt to find it elsewhere. The reason why I suggest using Amazon first is because they have random sales on pieces and actually sell most of their pieces for less than the actual Jim Shore website.
